I'm a registered nurse. I'm currently a patient at Waratah private hospital [in Hurstville, New South Wales, Australia]. I have CRPS, which is a chronic pain condition. We hear a lot of negative things being reported. I had to prepare for this hospital stay because of Covid.
Truly this process was made so easy from the very beginning. I was vaccinated by a beautiful nurse and university at Broadway. It was painless—so easy. That was step one. Brilliant nursing.
No visitors were allowed; naturally, I was a bit upset about this, however the nursing staff have truly been exceptional. The standard of care has been very high, not one expected a pat on the back. Each one of the nurses did things for me that helped in my recovery. Nurses names as Bishnu Bushwakarma, Chrus Cuevas,Ying Gao, Gilda and Suhila.
Honestly, the standard of nursing care renewed my faith in health system. I also had dietary needs, and Anastasia from catering made massive difference to my stay. She actually went to the shops to get few things to assist with my diet. Totally blew my mind that people would show such great care. I'm 53, and a nurse who loved her job To have a stay as wonderful as this in these times is unbelievable.
